Now in its fourth year, this evening race is sponsored by the First Pentecostal Church in Durham. The run will be on trails at the C.M. Herndon Park in Durham located at 511 Scott King Road. The 5K begins at 6 pm.
Like the Color Runs in the past, this event will feature volunteers throwing colored corn starch on the participants along the course. For the best effect, it is recommended participants wear white t-shirts.
Last year, over 60 runners and walkers participated in the event. RJ Whitt led all finishers in 27:23. Lindy Seitz set a new course record for the women completing the course in 23:55. Jonathan Edell set the men's course recoRd of 24:42 in 2022.
