Overview

Join Carolina Cancer Association in our event: Wig Out 4 Cancer, benefiting the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, as we come together to support patients and families affected by cancer. This community event welcomes runners, walkers, and supporters of all ages to unite in strength, resilience, and hope. Every step taken reflects our shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of those facing cancer. Whether you're racing to the finish line or cheering from the sidelines, your presence matters. Together, we can create a community of care, compassion, and support for UNC Lineberger patients and their families.
 
The 5K starts and finishes at Bynum Circle next to Bynum Hall located near Bynum Hall at 222 E Cameron Ave. Click here to download a course map.

For UNC students the entry fee is $20 ($25 if one wishes a wig).  For the non-students, the fee is $25 ($30 if one wished a wig). After February 24th, wigs cannot be guaranteed but (if available) would need to be purchased on race day.

Awards will be presented to the top three male finishers and to the top three female finishers overall.
