Now in its seventh year, this event consists of a 5K held to raise funds or the Malawi Children’s Initiative.  Over 300 entered the race in 2024.

The event is held in Southern Village in Chapel Hill – 300 Market Street for your GPS. The race begins at 9:30 am.

Luke Houser led all finishers last year after completing the course in 18.11. Chloe Solum won the women’s competition with s 21:01 effort.
