I'm sure you have already heard about the Earthquake that rattled Nepal on 25th April 2015, which took more than 9,000 lives and left more than 50,000 injured and homeless. Its been 2 months since the disaster, yet Nepal is still suffering from major aftershocks. With the initial rescue efforts winding down, a more complex and daunting task of rebuilding and rehabilitation needs to start. Nepal is still in need of International assistance in terms of food and shelter aids, as well as funding to rebuild their homes and schools. I'm participating in a 5K race on August 30th in Morrisville, NC, organized by the Nepal Center of North Carolina, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. NCNC is directly working with charities in Nepal so that all proceeds form this race will reach the victims. I really appreciate any help you can give.
