This will be the first year for this race put on by the Resurrection Lutheran School in Cary and run at the WakeMed Soccer Park.
Registrants can register either as a competitive or recreational entry. Competitive entrants will be issued a chip, will receive an official time, and be eligible for awards. Recreational entrants will not receive an official time, but they will be able to see their finishing times on a digital clock at the finish line.
The entry fee for competitive entrants is $25 and $30 after October 5th. The fees for the recreational entrant are $20 and $30, respectively.
T-shirts are guaranteed to all those registered by October 5.
There also is a special entry fee for families with four or more participating of $80.
Gift certificates valued at $100, $50, and $25 will be given to the 1st place male, 2nd place male and 3rd place male respectively. The first three female overall will receive identical awards. Medals will then be presented to the winners (both male and female) in the following age groups: 12-under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70-over.
Pre-registered entrants can pick up their packets and late entrants can register either on Friday, Nov. 1 from 5-7 pm at Omega Sports in Cary or on race day at the start/finish beginning at 7:30 am. Omega Sports is located at 314 Crossroads Boulevard in Cary.
