In its debut last year, this event had just under 100 entrants.  Heather Gutekunst led all finishers in 23:18.  James Henry was the top male finisher in second place with a 23:29 clocking.

The event takes place on the trails running through the picturesque Hasentree Country Club in Wake Forest. Two-thirds of the race will on paved surface; the rest will be on narrow, rugged trails through the woods. The race will start and finish at the Family Activity Club.

The entry fee is $20 which includes a t-shirt to all those entered on or before by March 29. After that date, the entry fee increases to $25 up to and including race day.”

Everyone who finishes the race will receive a medal.

The race will benefit The American Cancer Society with all of the net proceeds going to the Society.
