About Five4PFC: "My name is Anna Parrish. I am 16 years old and I have struggled with anxiety, depression, an eating disorder, suicidal thoughts and trichotillomania. I hope to help others by sharing my story and by hosting a 5k run/walk event to raise awareness of mental health issues and to help break the stigma that is still associated with them. PFC stands for Prefrontal Cortex. This is a tool in your brain that holds the fate of your mental wellness. I want people to realize that mental illness is not their fault and that there is HOPE. We all know someone who is affected by mental illness....please come out and show your support!"
