This is a new event for the Triangle area run on an out-and-back course in Research Triangle Park. The race will begin and end at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 4 Park Drive in the Research Triangle.
The race begins at 9 am.
Entrants in the 5K have a choice of entering as a competitive or recreational runner. Competitive entrants will receive an official time and be eligible for awards. Recreational entrants will not receive official times, but can either time themselves or see their times on the digital clock at the finish line.
The entry fees are the same for the competitive and recreational entrants - $25 up to including March 12th, and $30 thereafter, up to and including race day.
The entry fee includes a t-shirt, guaranteed to those entered by March 12th. After that date, it will be “as available.”
Awards will be given to the top three males overall, to the top three females overall, and to the top three finishers in each of the following age groups: (both sexes) 12-under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60-over.
