Last year over 160 runners and walkers entered this event entered this event, the majority of which were attendees or members of the sponsoring Cleveland Community Church. The race starts and ends at the Church which is located at 8246 Cleveland Road in Clayton.

In 2014 Wyatt and Gable Dershem led the way in the 5K both finishing in 19:05. Gina Witcher won the women’s competition in 22:41.  George Berg (18:12) and Anne Wood (21:33) hold the course records.

The mile begins at 9 am, and the 5K starts at 9:30 am

Entrants in the 5K have a choice of entering as a competitive or recreational runner. Competitive entrants will receive an official time and be eligible for awards. Recreational entrants will not receive official times, but can either time themselves or see their times on the digital clock at the finish line.

The entry fees are $30 for the 5K and $10 for the mile. After October 11th, both fees increase by $5 up to and including race day.  T-shirts are guaranteed to all those entered by October 11th.  After that date, it will be "as available."

In the 5K awards will be given to the first three male finishers, to the first three female finishers, and to the first two finishers (both sexes) in the following age groups: 13-under, 14-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-55 and 56 and up.
