After being run in December for a couple of years, this event has been moved to October,  In 2013 over 220 runners and walkers entered this event, the majority of which were attendees or members of the sponsoring Cleveland Community Church. The race starts and ends at the Church which is located at 8246 Cleveland Road in Clayton.

Joseph Wood led the way in the 5K finishing in 19:25. Lisa Wilhelm won the women’s competition in 22:07.  George Berg (18:12) and Anne Wood (21:33) hold the course records

This year a non-timed color run has been added to the event replacing the one-mile fun run from year's past.

The 5K begins at 9:00 am; the 5K Color Run starts at 10::00 am. Click here to download a course map.

The entry fee for the 5K is $30, while the fee for the Color Run is $35.  Both fees increase by $5 after October 3^rd.

T-shirts are guaranteed to all entered by October 1st.  After that date, it will be “as available.” 

In the 5K, awards will be given to the first three male finishers to the first three female finishers overall, and to the first three finishers in each of the following age groups (both sexes): 13-under, 14-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-55, and 56-up.

Proceeds from the race will be used to send a team from the Church to Haiti to serve with the Mission of Hope.
