In its third running last year, fifty-four participants signed us for this event.  Carter Shackles led all finishers in 17:16 – a new event course record for the men. Megan Wimmer also set a new event record for the women with a 22:13 clocking.

The event begins at 9 am.  The race headquarters is located at 701 Granite Falls Blvd in Rolesville.

All profits go to The Thorne to Rose Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on bringing awareness and breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health illness in black and brown communities.  They provide resources to therapists to assist them in becoming culturally competent in serving BIPOC communities through grants and continued education courses.  For more information on the work that they do, go to Thorne to Rose – Replenishing Your Mental Health.
