Overview

The 4th Annual Run with HEART took place last summer with over 210 registered runners and walkers. Joey Diserafino won the race in 18:07 while Kristin Harman won the women’s title in 22::51. The course record is held by Paul Springer who ran 15:53 in 2011. Heidi Bretscher set the women’s course mark of 18:24 in that same year.

The event is run on a USATF-certified course and is hosted by Hatcher Grove Christian Community. The race starts and finishes at the Cedar Fork Community Center located at 1050 B Town Hall Drive in Morrisville.

The 5K will begin at 7:45 am, followed by a 100-yard dash for kids for kids ages 10 and under starting at 9 am.

The entry fees are $20 for the 5K and $5 for the Kid’s Dash. On race day the fees are $25 and $10, respectively. Entrants in the 5K can also order a t-shirt for an additional $5 if registered NLT July 19.

In the 5K, awards will be presented to the top three male finishers, to the top three female finishers and to the top finisher in each of the following age divisions: (both sexes) 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-over. The oldest and youngest finishers will also receive an award.
