This event, now in its 5th year, was held in Wake Forest in 2013.  Benjamin Baxter led all finishers in 21:23.  Beverly Brown was the top female in 24:11.

The race has been moved to Rolesville for 2014 on a new course starting and finishing at the Rolesville Main Street Park located at 500 Scarboro Street in Rolesville..

The 5K begins at 3:30 pm, and the 1.5 mile walk starts ten minutes later.  A picnic in the park follows.

NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE OF TIMES DUE TO WAKE COUNTY SCHOOLS HAVING A MAKE-UP DAY ON SATURDAY.  THE TOWN WILL NOT PERMIT THE RACE TO BE RUN IN THE MORNING.

The entry fees are the same for either the Walk or the 5K - $25 up to and including January 31and then $30 up to and including race ace day.  The fee includes a shirt - guaranteed if registered by March 10. 

Race packets can be picked up and late entrants can register on at the start/finish area on race day beginning at 2:30 pm
