Joey Fix (18:13) and Haley Juno-Galdes (20:35) hold the course records for this event that  begins and ends at Middle Creek High School in Apex. The address is 123 Middle Creek Park Avenue. The 5K race will start finish on the school’s track.  Click here to download a course map.

The 5K starts at 10 am, and the mile begins at 11 am.  The mile is run on the school track.

The entry fee for Wake County Public School students and staff is $20.  For all others it is $30.  The fee for the Mustang Mile is $10. The entry fee includes a t-shirt - guaranteed to those registered by April 26th.  After that date it will be "as available."

Awards will be given the the first male overall, to the first female overall, and to the top finisher in each of the following age divisions (both sexes): 11 and Under, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-over.

All proceeds benefit MCHS Stampede Club’s efforts to support the athletic program and student athletes at Middle Creek High School. Fees are non-refundable.
