One of the larger area races, this event regularly draw over 1,000 runners and walkers. Most of the participants are from Girls on the Run.

Last year Tommy Bright, Jr. led the field to the finish line in 18:26. Sally Hart won the women’s competition with a 21:27 effort. The course records are held by Jason Jabaut (15:12) and Adrianne So (18:33).

The race normally is held at the WakeMed Soccer Park, but this year it has been moved to Meredith College and will be run on the greenway.
