Last year over 390 runners registered as competitive entrants in this event while an equal number ran the race as recreational entrants. Austin Hughes won the race in  a course-record 16:42. Christina Goudreau won the women’s title in 20:00. Brenna Liming owns the women’s mark of 18:17 set in 2010.

The event is limited to 600 entrants and usually closes out a month before the race.
