Event Overview

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Thanksgiving Day.  

The races will Start and Finish at  Renaissance Center
                                                      6807 Fayetteville Road  #120
                                                      Durham, NC  27713


Plenty of free onsite parking next to Start/Finish.  No shuttles or off-site parking necessary.
 
  •  8K and 5K receive Long Sleeve Shirts  sizes YL - Adult XL
  • 1 Mile Fun Run receives Short Sleeve Shirts sizes YS - Adult XL
  • Kids Dash does not receive shirts, but shirts can be purchased for $5

8:30 AM   8K and 5K

9:45 AM   1 Mile Fun Run

10:00 AM     100 Yard Kids Dash  (No entry fee for this event.  Register at Packet Pick up)

Course Maps

All races Start and Finish at the New Balance Store in Renaissance Center.

5K Route
  • Exits Renaissance Center
  • Crosses Fayetteville Road
  • Runs west in the 2 westbound lanes of Renaissance Parkway taking a Right on Leonardo Drive at Circle K
  • Loops Leonardo Drive then takes a left on Renaissance Parkway
  • Crosses over to the inside eastbound lane only at the Circle K
  • Follows easbound inside lane crossing back over to westbound lanes at Southpoint Mall (follow signs)
  • Follows course back to Finish at Renaissance Center

8K Route
  • Follows same course as 5K taking a right onto the Anerican Tobacco Trial just past Southpoint Mall
  • Exiting ATT, left onto Highgate Drive
  • Right onto Audubon Lake Drive to traffic circle
  • Take second exit at traffic circle to turnaround
  • Follow same route - Audubon Lake Dr, Highgate Dr and ATT to Renaissance Parkway
  • Exiting ATT at Renaissance Parkway, take a left and remain in westbound lanes to Fayetteville Rd (do not cross over to eastbound lanes where 5K runners are running)
  • Return to Finish in Renaissance Center

Refund Policy

We do not make refunds after November 1. 

If you want to switch from 5K to 8K, extra fee of $5 paid at Packet Pickup.  No refund when  switching from 8K to 5K.
