One hundred per cent of the funds raised supports clean water, education, and medical care for orphans in Uganda.
The race will start at 8 am at the Wake Forest Town Hall – 301 Brooks Street for your GPS.

Participants have the option of entering as a timed or untimed entrant. Here are the differences. The timed entrant will be issued a timing chip, will receive an official finish time, and will be eligible for awards. The untimed entrant is someone who does not care about his/her time or being eligible for age group awards. However, all participants will be able to see their finishing time on a digital clock at the finish line
The fees are the same for each category - $25 for ages 18 and older and $15 for ages 10-17. Both fees increase by $5 after May 29.
Children ages 9 and younger who do not wish to receive an official time can participate for free. If they wish to receive an official time and be eligible for awards, the fee is $5. T-shirts are not included for children 9 and under, but they can order one for $10 on or before May 22
The entry fee includes a t-shirt to all those paid registrations by May 22. After that, it will be “as available.”
Awards will be given to the to top three males and to the top thee females overall and to the top finisher in each of the following age groups (both sexes): 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and older.
