In 2018 over 2,000 runners finished this 5K with Luis Vargas winning in 15:01.  Alice Kassers  won the women’s competition in 19:24. Both times are the new course records.

The Triangle Run/Walk for Autism is also part of the Second Empire 2019 Grand Prix Series. Runners who participate in these races accumulate points and are awarded money and prizes at an awards banquet held at the Second Empire Restaurant at the conclusion of the Series.
