The morning begins with the start of the 5K at 9 am followed by the mile at 10:00 am and the Kid’s Dash at 10:20 am.

Entrants in the 5K have a choice of entering as a competitive or recreational runner. Competitive entrants will receive an official time, be eligible for awards, and will receive Grand Prix points. Recreational entrants will not receive official times, but can either time themselves or see their times on the digital clock at the finish line.

The entry fees are $25 for the 5K if received on or before April 13th, $30 from April 14th to April 26th and $35 on race day.  For the 1-mile run, the entry fees are $15 (on or before April 13th) and $20 after April 13th up to and including race day, and the fee for the Kid’s Dash is $5 with no late fees.

A short sleeve shirt is included with the entry fee in each of the 3 races (5K, One Mile and Kids Dash) if registered on or before April 13th.  After this date, we will do our best to provide all entries a shirt, but cannot guarantee it.

In the 5K, all competitive finishers will receive an official time.  No official times will be taken for those signing up for the mile, but all finishers will be able to see their finishing times on a digital clock at the finish line.

In the 5K, awards will be presented to the top three males overall, to the top three females overall, to the top three master finishers of each sex, and to the top three finishers in each of the following age divisions: (both sexes) 12-under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74,75-79 and 80-over.

There  will be two opportunities for pre-registered entrants to pick up their packets and late entrants to register prior to race day.  The first will be at Inside Out Sports in Cary on Thursday, April 25th from 1-6 pm.  The second opportunity will be on Friday, April 26th at Trinity Academy located at 10224 Baileywick Road in North Raleigh also from 1-6 pm.

Race Day registration will begin at 7 am on race day and also pre-registered entrants may pick up their packets beginning at that time.
