Come run and help India Carry the Water:

All proceeds provide clean water projects in India, enabling women to pursue job and educational opportunities instead of having to walk for miles to fetch water, insuring men have reliable water sources for their crops and livestock, and allowing children to enjoy the sweetness of a good bath and clean water so they can grow up healthy and strong.

In its debut in spring, 2018, over 190 registered for the event. Garrett Hagerman led the field in 19:35, while Lauren Farell led the women across the finish line in 23:18. Since this was the first year this race had been run, both times are event records.

The event will be held at the 519 Conference Center, located at 1100 Perimeter Park Drive in Morrisville, NC, and will start at 10 am. Participants can choose to race or run for fun, registering as either Timed Entrants or Untimed Entrants. All finishers in both categories will be able to see their finishing times on a digital clock at the finish line, but only those registered as Timed Entrants will be eligible for prizes.

The entry fee is $20 until January 1, then increasing to $25 until February 14th. The fee then goes to $30 after February 14th until March 22. On race day the entry fee will be $40. Chilren ages 12 and under can register for not cost.

A free t-shirt is guaranteed to all those paid entrries registered by February 28, after which date t-shirts will be provided to entrants as available.

Gift certificates from sponsors will be given to the top three males overall, to the top three females overall, and to the top finishers in each of the following age groups (both sexes): 17 & under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & over.

Late entrants can register and pre-registered entrants can pick up their packets on Thursday, March 21 from 5-7 pm at Fleet Feet Sports in Morrisville (3027 Village Market Place).
