A 5K event run on the trails at Research Triangle Park starting and finishing in the Alexandria Innovations Parking Lot. The Lot is located at 7010 Kit Creek Road in Morrisville.  Th race starts at 9 am.

​Gift certificates to Fleet Feet will be awarded to the first three males overall and to the first three females overall in amounts of $50, $40 and $30, respectively.

The race will benefit the Projects of Hope, a missions-based nonprofit organization, whose goal is to serve children within impoverished schools in other parts of the world. Their aim is to complete much needed sustainable, infrastructural and revenue generating school building projects. Thereby giving the schools and its students a more positive and better-equipped learning environment. The entry fees are $35, up to and including, race day.  T-shirts sizes are guaranteed to all those entered by July 15^th; after that date, it will be “as available.”
