In 2017 over 2,500 runners and walkers registered for the 5K race. They were led by Jared Eytcheson, who covered the USAT&F-certified course in 16:57. Katie Walter won the women’s title in 19:27 – setting a new women’s course record. Evan Gates set the men’s course record of 15:34 in 2014.
