In March, 2017 over 150 runners and walkers registered for this event. Sal Villari won the race in 20:50, while Isa Edwards took the women’s title in 23:58  Bobby Mack (15:53) holds the course record set in 2011.  Sally Hart set the women’s course record of 22:26 in 2013.

This event will be run entirely within the campus of Wake Christian Academy in South Raleigh. The school is located just off 401 South at 5500 Wake Academy Drive. Click here to download a 5K course map.

The event will begin at 8:30 am with the start of the 5K.  The mile fun run will begin at 9:15 am.

The entry fee for the 1-mile Fun Run is $15.  For the 5K, the fee is $25, if registered on or before March 6th, and $30 thereafter, up to and including race day.  Entrants in the 5K have a choice if entering as either competitive (timed) or recreational (not timed). Shirts are guaranteed to all those registering NLT March 6th

In the 5K, awards will be given to the top three males overall, to the top three females overall, and to the top three finishers in each of the following age groups - (both sexes) 9-under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-35, 36-50, 51-65 and 66-over.

Late entries can register and pre-registered entrants can pick up their race packets on Friday, March 16^th  from  3:00-5:00 pm at the WCA Auditorium or on race day, beginning at 7:30 am.
