The North Carolina Roadrunners Club is proud topresent the 40th Annual Run for the Roses 5K - the Triangle's oldest continuing running 5K. This fun traditional Valentine's weekend
race offers a fun-filled afternoon for the family to raise money to benefit Canines for Veterans,
an organization which trains service dogs for Veterans and Team Red, White and Blue NC,
an organization with the mission to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting
them to their community through physical and social activity.
All female 5K finishers receive a rose. The race also features couple competition
Over 500 runners and walkers registered for this event last year. Chad Maloy led all finishers with a 14:57, while Andie Cozzarelli led th women in 17:18.
